The H50 uses your club distances to provide features such as club suggestions and more accurate on-course insights.
These distances can come from your performance data (P-Avg) or be set manually.
How Club Distances Work
If you have enough round data in your account, the device will use your P-Avg (Performance Average) for each club
If you don’t have enough data yet, you will need to set distances manually
You can also choose to use manual distances even if P-Avg data is available
How to Set Manual Club Distances
To manually set or edit your club distances:
Log out of the Shot Scope app and log back in
Go to More
Select My Bag
Tap on the club you want to edit
Tap the Edit (pencil) icon
Enter your Custom Distance and Dispersion
You will need to repeat this process for each club in your bag.
Tap Save
Connect your H50 to the Shot Scope app to transfer the updated club data to your device
When Should I Use Manual Distances?
Manual distances are useful if:
You don’t yet have enough rounds recorded for P-Avg
You prefer to use your own known yardages
You want more control over club recommendations
Once you’ve played enough rounds and signed off your data, your P-Avg distances will update automatically and can be used instead if preferred.
